What personal information do we collect?
The information we receive from customers helps us deliver more accurately and better meet your requirements. The types of information we collect are as follows:
- Information you provide to us: We receive and store any information you provide to us on orders or through any other means. You may choose not to provide certain information, but we use the information you provide to respond to your requests.
- Address information: The address information you provide helps us deliver your packages more accurately. Your address information will not be leaked — see our data storage section for details. Your address information will be deleted within 30 days after shipment.
- Email address: We collect your email address so that we can better contact you if there are any issues after your order, such as returns, exchanges, or shipping. Rest assured, your email address will be encrypted first.
- Phone number: We collect your phone number for shipping purposes, which helps couriers contact you more accurately. Similarly, your phone number will be deleted within 30 days after shipment.
How do we process collected data?
When we receive order information, we encrypt customer information (customer address, name, phone number, etc.). When it needs to be used (for shipping), the data is decrypted, but decrypted data is not stored, and decrypted data is not recorded in logs.
How do we store data?
We encrypt collected data using RSA 2048-bit algorithm and store it in an Oracle cloud database, with data security guaranteed by Oracle.
How do we use data?
We process collected data by category, as follows:
- Pending shipment orders: When we receive pending shipment order data, we push the order's address information and package details to logistics providers (USPS, UPS, DHL) to obtain shipping labels, then apply the labels to packages and await courier pickup.
- Cancelled orders: When we receive a cancelled order, our system marks it as "Order Cancelled," and then periodically deletes PII information.
- Shipment plans: We pull shipment plans created on Amazon, update shipped and received quantities to verify inventory information.
Do we share information with others?
Customer information is an important part of our business, and we will not resell it to others. We only share customer information with affiliates of this website that are subject to this privacy notice or provide at least equally protective practices, in the following ways:
- Third-party service providers: We engage other companies and individuals to perform certain functions on our behalf. For example: processing orders, delivering packages, sending letters and emails, removing duplicate entries from customer lists, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, providing search results and links (including paid search listings and links), and providing customer service. They have access to customer information needed to perform their functions, but may not use this information for any other purpose.
- Protection of our organization and others: Information may be disclosed as required by laws and regulations, to enforce our terms of service, or to protect the legitimate rights of customers and others. For example, to prevent fraud or reduce credit risk, it may be necessary to provide relevant information to legal authorities, but we will not sell, rent, or share customer information for profit.
- With your consent: Except for the above situations, if customer information needs to be disclosed to third parties, we will notify the customer in advance and obtain explicit consent. The customer has the right to choose not to share information.
How do we dispose of data?
We periodically delete privacy-related data for cancelled and shipped orders, such as addresses, phone numbers, and recipient names. This information is generally deleted within 30 days.
